Your donation will go a long way in allowing KidzCan to supply free chemotherapy drugs to any child suffering from cancer in Zimbabwe, giving the child the right to fight. In combination with this, Kidzcan will be able to fund all required diagnostic tests in order to obtain accurate and speedy diagnoses for life-saving treatment. Our national awareness and education outreach and parent support programs also aid in achieving the goal of increasing the survival rate of children with cancer in Zimbabwe.

About 1 in 500 children will develop cancer by the age 15. Fortunately, with early detection and treatment, 75-85% of childhood cancers can be cured. Early reporting can save your child’s life.

Kidzcan Children’s Cancer relief provides chemotherapy drugs to children suffering from cancer in Zimbabwe. We also provide financial support for psycho/social support to families, and a volunteer program that provides playtime and art therapy for children in the hospital. Kidzcan also educates communities about the early warning signs of childhood cancer through our outreach programs.

Clinical Care

Kidzcan provides chemotherapy and other related drugs, blood products as well as prosthetics. We also source and pay for diagnostic services, that is, Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory Tests.

Psychosocial Support

Kidzcan holds structured plays with children 4 times a week, Children are also given toys, books, candy, warm clothing, and twice a week they are visited by a clown.

Fund Raising

The organization solicits cash and kind donations from individuals, companies, corporates, organizations, schools, and churches.

Follow up of children who miss their review dates is done weekly

RAINBOW CHILDREN’S VILLAGE

The Rainbow Children’s Village provides a restorative home where patients can be monitored and recuperate after receiving treatment.

Our solution is to create a home that provides a tranquil, clean environment to shelter both the patient and their caregiver during and after treatment. RCV provides a holistic healing approach which includes a recreational are and qualified staff to monitor the children.

The shelter when completed will house over 27 twin-bedded rooms plus additional facilities of communal living, entertainment space, state of the art kitchen, laundry and office space.
